AMASYA & KASTAMONU REGION PROJECTS

In the Amasya region, lithologies belonging to the Sakarya Zone are exposed. One of the most significant deposits in the region is the Gümüşhacıköy silver-lead-zinc mineralization. In this deposit, values of 20-40% Pb, 1-4% Zn, and 500-3,500 g/ton Ag have been determined. The Gümüşhacıköy silver-lead-zinc deposit is an old mine, and there are numerous old galleries opened for mining.

The Kastamonu region, due to its geological structure, is rich in underground resources with diverse potentials. The most important mine in the region is the Küre Cu-Pb-Zn operation. In addition to copper, there are also gold-silver and lead-zinc mineralizations in the region.

Projects with high Hg levels also exhibit polymetallic anomalies. Structurally controlled mineralizations are present, along with areas showing high Pb-Zn values.
